Texas cops took an HOUR to stop Salvador Ramos’ massacre… we wanted to storm school OURSELVES, say furious parents
OUTRAGED parents claim Texas cops took an hour to stop Salvador Ramos' massacre as they considered storming the schools themselves.
Horrified onlookers desperately urged police to charge into Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, as the 18-year-old shooter killed 19 kids and two teachers and injured more than a dozen on Tuesday.
Ramos barricaded the classroom before unleashing a hail of bullets on those inside – but according to officials the gunman was on the site for up to an hour before cops entered and killed him, reports CNN.
The devastated father of one of the children brutally killed in horror attack has said he considered trying to get in the building while cops held tight.
Jacinto Cazares, dad to ten-year-old victim Jackie Cazares, rushed to the school after hearing about the shooting – but says when he arrived, officers had not entered the premises, reports ABC.
He said he told other witnesses: "Let’s just rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything like they are supposed to."

Jacinto believes "more could have been done" to save the innocent youngsters and their teachers.
He told the outlet: "There were at least 40 lawmen armed to the teeth but didn't do a darn thing [until] it was far too late."
Another onlooker who lives across the street from the school said people were begging cops to storm the building as gunfire rang out.
Juan Carranza, 24, said women at the scene were shouting "go in there, go in there", reports the New York Post.

He added: "There were more of them, there was just one of him."
Dozens of local police, state cops and 80 Border Patrol officers eventually swarmed the scene – with four patrol officials entering the room and killing Ramos.
Harrowing cries of parents frantically searching for their kids then filled the street.
Parents gave DNA samples to cops to identify the dead and those injured in hospital – unable to tell staff their names.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott provided an update on the timeline of events that unfolded.
Abbott said that Ramos shot his grandmother before getting into a pickup truck that was registered to her.
He then crashed the car less than a mile away, outside the elementary school.
Ramos reportedly emerged from the car carrying a rifle, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Sergeant Erick Estrada said on CNN.
Officers with the Uvalde school district approached Ramos and engaged in gunfire, Abbott said.
Ramos then entered the elementary school through a back door, went down two hallways, and walked into a classroom on the left-hand side.
Meanwhile, chilling last texts sent by Ramos reveal his intent to shoot up both his grandmother and the elementary school.
