Terrifying moment tourists dangle from rope 1,000ft in the air after cable car get stuck | The Sun

THIS is the terrifying moment tourists dangled 1,000ft above ground by a rope after two cable cars got stuck above a forest.

Fifteen people were left suspended in the air above the Parwanoo Timber Trail in India’s northern Shivalik mountain ranges due to a technical issue.

Four people were trapped in the uphill trolley and 11 people inside the downhill trolley.

The group were stranded for more than an hour before emergency services arrived to the scene.

In horrifying footage, two members of the group can be seen being evacuated from the cable car from a rope.

A person appears to be in a harness as they cling to the rope while it is lowered to the valley floor.
