Teen girl ‘raped and tortured with blowtorch’ after being kidnapped from party

A 14-year-old girl was allegedly injected with heroin, raped, and tortured with a blowtorch while being held hostage for a month by a woman she had only just met.

Elham Naaman, 24, allegedly met the teenage girl — who cannot be identified — at a party in north-western Sydney where they added each other on social media.

Police have alleged Ms Naaman and the young girl decided to meet up again at a hotel on the evening of June 5, 2021.

Within just moments of getting into the car together, the girl was allegedly raped by an unknown male who was sitting in the vehicle, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The horrific attacks continued at a hotel room they were driven to, a court heard.

It is alleged that the teen was held at the hotel, a Greenacre unit and other locations over the next month up until July 6.

She was allegedly sexually and physically assaulted, drugged and intimidated during that time.

Documents shown in court claim the teen had drugs including GBH and ice forced upon her while she was held against her will.

She was also injected with heroin, police allege.

While being held at the Greenacre unit, the teenager was allegedly sexually assaulted and threatened with a blowtorch – which allegedly set the scarf she was wearing on fire.

Ms Naaman was arrested on Sunday morning in north-west Sydney, MailOnline reports.

She was charged with kidnapping in company, stealing, intimidating, supplying a prohibited drug and damaging property by fire with intent to injure.

According to her solicitor Upol Amin she will be defending the charges.

The police expect to make further arrests and allege two other women and a man were involved in the horrific kidnapping.

Ms Naaman was allegedly on parole when she subjected the teen to the month-long ordeal, after serving two years and nine months in prison for common assault and motor vehicle theft.

Police say she has also been charged over an unrelated incident where she allegedly set fire to her studio apartment on August 14.

They allege she lit the fire in an attempt to destroy evidence of a stabbing.

Ms Naaman allegedly texted an unknown individual after the fire: "I lit a hotel room on fire to cover your a**e".

She will next be facing court over the hotel room fire on October 12.
