At least 25 people are dead after suicide bombers targeted a hospital in Afghanistan.

An official from the Taliban-run Defense Ministry said six suicide bombers were involved in a blast at the entrance of a Kabul military hospital and tried to enter the facility, but were pushed back by Taliban guards.

At least 50 people are thought to have been injured, with gunmen then attacking the site after the blasts.
