Staggering £12m of lotto money unclaimed as players urged to check tickets
You could be sitting on a life-changing sum of money without even realising as £12million worth of National Lottery prizes is yet to be claimed.
There are two jackpots up for grabs, the £11 million Lotto Jackpot and the £1 million EuroMillions prize.
It has been revealed that there are two missing winners yet to claim their fortunes – so check your tickets!
The winner of the missing Lotto Jackpot, which was drawn last Saturday, bought their winning ticket in retail and matched all six numbers in the draw.
The missing EuroMillions winner, who matched one of 13 Millionaire Maker codes in a draw last Friday, bought their ticket online.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players receive one of these codes printed on their ticket.
Camelot's Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at The National Lottery, said: "It's just a week ago that these two life-changing prizes were won by two lucky ticket-holders.
"We're asking National Lottery players to check their tickets – for the Lotto Jackpot prize this is the physical paper ticket while for the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker prize we’re asking players to log into their National Lottery account to check, as this win was online."
