Hilarious moment workman shrieks in terror after his friends dangle fake spider over toilet door as he comes out

• They rigged up a ‘tarantula’ over doorway of the bathroom occupied by pal Eion
• As the arachnophobe came out, he screamed and raced back inside 

A workman had an almighty shock after his friends played a fake spider prank on him as he came out of a toilet.

Footage shows Conor Flynn hiding in the attic of a property in Kerry, Ireland, with his friend Timmy while they wait for their arachnophobic companion Eion to emerge.

Conor slowly starts lowering the plastic tarantula, tied to some string, in front of the closed bathroom door below them.

The terrified workman takes one look, shrieks in fear, then turns around and heads back inside 

Just then, Eion opens the door, takes one look and shrieks in terror before darting back into the bathroom.

The pranksters burst out laughing, and Eion also sees the funny side – eventually. 

Conor said: ‘His reaction almost made me fall out of the attic from laughing… 100% epic.’

The cheeky stunt was posted to social media in May 2017 but has since re-emerged. 

After realising he’s been pranked, Eion sees the funny side – while Conor, and his friend Timmy, also in the attic, burst out laughing
