Siegfried & Roy’s huge ‘Jungle Palace’ filled with exotic cats on sale for £2.5m

The former home of one of the most famous entertainment duos in the world has gone on sale for an eye-watering £2.5 million.

Siegfried and Roy would delight audiences around the world with their famous circus-like magic routine involving white lions and tigers.

And on the same theme, the Las Vegas home of Siegfried Fischbascher and Roy Horn was called Jungle Palace, which is now on sale for mega money.

According to a listing on United States-based online sales website Zillow, the house was built in 1954 and has six bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.

The entire living space spans over 8,750 square-feet, which includes a spa, hot tub, private swimming pool with waterfall, hot tub, rooftop balcony and decking area, and giant gated fencing with the “SR” insignia on it.

The interior is stunning, if a little lavish, and could be a house where the new owner moves straight in without needing to do any work.

And if you like palm trees . . . well, most of the rooms appear to have them built in.

The kitchen is rather less garish than the rest of the house, and has a decent-sized island in the middle to keep your friends occupied while you – or your hired help – cater for them.

Property experts at Zillow also calculated that you'd have to pay another whopping cost on top of the purchase price of around £15,000 per month because of property taxes and home insurance.

It is thought that the German-born duo let their tigers roam the halls of the property at will, having moved into it in 1892.

According to a report in TMZ, the house already has an interested buyer having been given an exclusive interview with famed Murray The Magician who has taken a tour of the home.

They claim: “Murray tells us he's a potential buyer and while he hasn't made an official offer, he's interested in buying the famous magic house to preserve its rich history.”

The property will come unfurnished – and without giant cats.

In January 2021, Siegfried Fischbascher died after a short battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 81.

His death has been confirmed by his sister Dolore, who said: "He was at home in Las Vegas.

"I could pray with him and tell him that I will always be with him in my heart."

His death came a few months after Roy Horn died from Covid-related complications at the age of 75.

The property was bought at a knock-down price of around £1.5 million by someone a few months later, but is now up for sale once more.
