A FEMALE prison guard has quit after a lag secretly filmed himself snogging her in his jail cell.

The screw, who is in her 20s, resigned after the hidden camera footage of the clinch came to light.

Insiders last night revealed how the guard was unaware she was being filmed at the nick in West Lothian, Scotland.

A source said: “She felt under serious pressure – her career is over.” 

Footage shows a hidden camera being set up on a banned mobile phone just seconds before the screw, who we are not naming, enters his cell at Addiewell nick.

The inmate – who is filmed gargling mouthwash ahead of the clinch – is then seen pulling the guard, who is in her 20s, towards him by her arm. 

After their kiss, the pair can be heard whispering to each other on the video clip.

But last night sources told how the guard – who was since left her job – felt “intimated and pressured” into the situation.

Bosses at the privately-run nick are aware of the footage, which is understood to have been filmed weeks ago.

One insider said: “She felt under serious pressure to do it.

“It’s clear she didn’t know it was being filmed.

“Everyone at the jail is talking about the video.

“She quit last week after the video started doing the rounds, her career is over.”

The short clip is believed to have been recently leaked which saw the scandal come to light.

Sources said the member of staff quit last week.

It is understood the con in the video was released from prison last month.

It comes after we revealed a guard was allegedly caught having sex with a caged mobster in his cell at Saughton nick, in Edinburgh.

The screw – who quit before facing bosses probing the scandal – was found in a “compromising position” with the hood.

She walked just days after we told how a colleague caught her “pulling up her pants” following her alleged tryst in January.

And prison officerPaul Dollard, 34, was axed following claims he was found in an “over-friendly position” with a female inmate at Saughton jail, where his wife also worked.

The alleged incident was said to have occurred in May last year, when his missus was off on leave.

Last night, the Scottish Prison Service ref­used to comment on the latest claims.

A spokesman for Sodexo, which runs Addiewell, said: “This matter has been referred to the police and the individual no longer works for the prison. We are unable to comment any further."
