Sex robots that recognise humans using ‘3D AI vision’ built in US factory
Sex robots that recognise humans using futuristic AI vision are set for release.
RealDoll said it is producing the dolls equipped with "three-dimensional space and face recognition".
A factory worker, named Mike, gave attendees a virtual tour via video link of the factory at a Raspberry Dream Labs event attended by Daily Star Online.
We learned at the panel talk – titled Sex Robots: Are We Ready? – that the dolls equipped with vision are being manufactured and will be unleashed onto the sex robot market.

Mike said: "We have a lot of really great things on the way, we have vision coming out.
"So with vision, they will have three-dimensional space and face recognition, which lends to a whole range of other options.
"It's very exciting for everyone here, with how successful robots have taken off.
"Customers who have received them are happy with them. So we're going to see how much further we are able to push it."

Humans 'mistake sex robots for real people' in AI world first
Sex doll collector, Brick Dollbanger, previously told us that vision will enable dolls to recognise owners in a crowded room.
This paves the way for dolls to say their owner's name before engaging in a conversation.
Brick, who has close ties with RealDoll, told us: "You're going to see vision, the robot head it going to have vision. It’s going to be able to recognise its owner, respond to its owner.
"It will have facial recognition, I believe they have already started drilling the eye, and the camera will be in one eye.

"And what they are working on now is that the heads are going to be shipped because there's going to be an upgrade, probably within a year maybe less.
"What they're working on now is the headboard, the mainboard has to go into the head of the robot and that will support this function.
"They've figured out how to get the camera in, and getting wiring, circulatory and function is where they're at right now.
"I would expect it to have vision, where the head can track you, and will know who you are.

"It will be able to pick you out of a room. If it gets facial recognition it will be able to pick you out of a room full of people and say this is my human, that's the one I'm bonding with."
At the discussion, the prospect of humans being able to upload personalities of loved ones dead or alive was discussed.
Dr David Levy told Daily Star Online he believes it will be "very straight forward" to install a replica persona into a doll.
