Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with Monday’s chaotic and deadly robbery of a homeowner in east Denver that resulted in two fatalities and a woman left in critical condition.

Tameka Lanise Dudley, 44, was taken into custody Thursday near S. Parker Road and E. Iliff Avenue and is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, burglary, and first-degree aggravated motor vehicle theft.

Police say Dudley was part of a trio of suspects, two of whom donned reflective vests and pretended to be utility workers to gain access to Mark Outman’s home in the 900 block of North Monaco Parkway in the middle of the day Monday.

Outman, 64, was shot dead in his home, while a visiting family member was shot and critically injured during the robbery, police said.

Police originally identified the three suspects in the incident as men but on Friday clarified that one of them was actually Dudley, who is female. Police had described a third suspect as waiting in a car outside the home during the robbery.

Joshua Hamm, 38, fled the home on foot when police arrived but was quickly caught, police said. He is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, robbery and possession of a weapon by a felon.

The other man who fled Outman’s home on foot with a gun in his hand has been identified as 47-year-old Larry Hamm.

He was fatally shot by police after attempting to carjack two vehicles and then doing so successfully with a third vehicle. A police officer following Hamm fired his gun into the passenger window, where Hamm was sitting, striking him.

The driver of the vehicle, who did not know Hamm, was not injured except for some cuts from the flying glass. Hamm later died at a hospital.

In total, three Denver police officers fired their guns during the incident. All three officers are on modified duty while the shooting is investigated.

Denver police on Friday said it believes “all suspects related to the case are accounted for.”
