Schoolboy, 13, found in park 'collapsed and died after taking homemade ecstasy but revealed dealer's name with dying breath'

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy collapsed and died after taking homemade ecstasy – but managed to reveal the dealer's name with his dying breath, it has been claimed.

The schoolboy, named locally as Carson Price, was discovered unconscious in a park in Ystrad Mynach in South Wales, last night, but sadly passed away in hospital.

It has been claimed the teen bought the drug with his pocket money – collapsing seconds after taking the substance.

The grandfather of a teen who witnessed the tragedy said: "He took a tablet and collapsed immediately.

"He managed to give the name of the boy who supplied him with the drug."

He added: "I was told it was a homemade ecstasy tablet, I don’t suppose the boy knew what was in it.

"It’s just a dreadful thing to happen, he was so young."

Cops have today launched an investigation into the tragedy, saying they were treating the death as "unexplained" and that no arrests had been made.

When questioned directly by the Sun Online about the drug allegations, police refused to comment.

The tragedy has left Carson's family reeling, with his devastated mother Tatum Price writing on Facebook: "I'm broken my life is over".

She later added: "My life is ruined."

Floral tributes have been placed at the park where Carson was discovered as cops carry out a post mortem to establish how he died.

The schoolboy had left school for the Easter Holidays just hours before he visited the park on the outskirts of town.

'SHOCKED AND DEVASTATED'

Chris Parry, his head teacher as Lewis School Pengam, said everyone at the school was "shocked and devastated at the terrible news".

He added: "It is with immense sadness that today we have heard the terrible news that one of our pupils has tragically passed away.

"Everyone in our school is shocked and devastated by the loss of one of our own.

"I'm sure everyone in our community will join with us in sharing our deepest sympathies with the pupils's friends and family at this awful time."

Cops confirmed his family are currently being supported by specialist officers.

The young boy is believed to have been found by dog walkers who found him unconscious.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Payne, added: “At this time inquiries are ongoing and the investigation into this young boy’s death are still in the early stages.

“Specialists are working to determine the exact cause of death and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

“I’d like to appeal to anyone who can assist with our investigation."
