Sarah Jessica Parker couldn’t swing votes for West Village liquor license

Sarah Jessica Parker is an A-list actress, a style maven and a vocal supporter of liberal politicians. But when it comes to her local community board, she doesn’t have much juice.

Last week, Page Six reported that the “Sex and the City” star spoke at the March 14 Community Board 2 State Liquor Authority committee meeting in favor of restaurateur Gabe Stulman’s latest project at his West Village eatery Fedora.

Stulman — who also owns Joseph Leonard and Bar Sardine — was seeking to extend his existing liquor license into a back garden area.

“My name is Sarah Jessica Parker. I am a longtime, 28-year resident of the West Village. My husband was born and raised in the West Village,” Parker said at the meeting, which took place in the basement of St. Anthony’s of Padua on Sullivan Street. The neighborhood resident touted Fedora’s food and drink and called the team “responsible, respectful and hospitable.”

But on Thursday, the board voted to nix Stulman’s proposal — despite Parker’s endorsement. According to the Villager, the decision was nearly unanimous, with just one member siding with Stulman. There was strong opposition from West Village residents, including writer Marc Levy.

In related booze news: March 14 was also the day SJP’s PR team started hyping her upcoming partnership with New Zealand-based Invivo wines. Her vine line — featuring a sauvignon blanc and rosé — is set to pour in summer 2019.

“I am a true wine lover and I love including wine in family dinners and occasions with friends, so this is a very exciting and fun project for me. I’m so looking forward to every single stage of the creation,” the Stella Artois spokeswoman opines in the press release. “I intend to be very hands-on throughout the process, as I am with all my endeavors, and could not be partnering with a better brand than Invivo.”

No word on whether Fedora will carry her vino — indoors, of course.
