The Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, who divorced 22 years ago, have long been surrounded by claims they are secretly back in a relationship.

Daily Star Online had previously reported how ITV News’ royal editor dropped the bombshell the pair were “unofficially back together”.

Chris Ship revealed Fergie had flown to Bahrain with Andrew as his “partner”, where they stayed together earlier this year on a private visit.

It came after Fergie broke her silence on her and Andrew’s life together, describing it as “our fairytale” and “the greatest ever”.

But Fergie may have just given away another big clue herself, after Daily Star Online spotted she has been “liking” dozens of Andrew’s tweets.

We discovered that Fergie has “liked” nearly 50 posts – either posted by Andrew’s @TheDukeOfYork Twitter account, other accounts tagging him, or her own – in the last two months.

She has “liked” 48 of these since May 1 – of which an astonishing 38 was in May alone, accounting for an average of 1.2 likes a day.

Another 10 came in June, including two of her own which she posted about Andrew – gushing of how “proud” she was of him at Trooping the Colour.

Another tweet reads: “So proud of @TheDukeOfYork on parade today for The Colonel’s Review with @GrenadierGds at Horseguards and also my girls.”

The revelation is bound to leave fans gushing over a royal romance just weeks after Fergie and Andrew – who still live together at the Royal Lodge in Windsor – stepped out at Ascot races together.

That appearance – one of many the pair make together at the annual race meeting – also came after they stepped out together at Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding at Windsor Castle.

It was the third wedding Fergie and the Duke had attended together, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and their daughter Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

Their latest appearance at a wedding saw fans clamour on social media, yet again, convinced of a romance.

The comments included: “Fergie and Andrew are together, the end.”

“My money is on Andrew and Fergie announcing their engagement within a year of Philip passing. Or at least that’s what I’m desperately hoping for.

“It was such a beautiful day, beautiful bride and many surprise guests from the Royal Family. I’m so happy for Sarah Ferguson that she’s back in firm.

“Obvious Andrew & Fergie are back together.”
