Putin’s three options for Wagner fighters

Vladimir Putin offered Wagner Group fighters three choices.

He urged them to either contact the Ministry of Defence to sign up to the military, go back to their homes or go to Belarus.

Belarus is a neighbouring puppet state and where it was determined Wagner Boss Yevgeny Prigozhin would live from now on, having called off his failed coup.

“I repeat, it is the choice of each of you but it will be the choice of warriors of Russia who have acknowledged their faults.”

Putin blames ‘neo-Nazis’ for fuelling Russian-on-Russian fighting

Putin said that the weekend’s drama was the result of external threats and blamed “neo-Nazis” as he has consistently sought to paint Ukrainians.

He says the organisers of the rebellion betrayed the Wagner Group fighters who were “dragged into” the organisation.

“This kind of suicide is precisely what the neo-Nazis in Kyiv and the West wanted,” he said.

“They wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other … they wanted our society to be fragmented, to be splintered and they tried to take revenge for their failure at the front but they slipped up,” he claimed to the Russian people.

Mutineers ‘will be brought to justice’: Putin

Vladimir Putin praises the Wagner Group fighters who have fought against Ukraine and did not join Saturday’s mutiny.

But he doubles down on his original threat to the organisation’s boss Yevgeny Prigozhin saying that “The organisers of this rebellion cannot but understand that they will be brought to justice.”

“Everybody understands that,” Putin said.

“This is criminal activity, which is aimed at weakening the country.”

Putin says mutineers are traitors

Vladimir Putin is now addressing the Russian people.

He thanks them for their restraint shown on the weekend.

Without naming Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin he attacks the mutineers as traitors.
