The rogue tent-shaped beast was caught on film skirting down a road in Roath, Cardiff earlier today.
The bizarre moment as picked up by a Twitter user who posted it online along with the comment: “A rare sighting this morning in Roath, Cardiff of Hannah of #StormHannah fame who’s actually just an angry panda.”
The tweet has so far had nearly 6,000 likes and people were quick to support the free-spirited tent.
One user said the panda was “big queen energy”, whilst another compared it to a 70s cop show chase.
South Wales Cops confirmed they were aware of the runaway, tweeting: “Pandamonium in Cardiff this morning.
“Stay safe outside today, still heavy winds across south Wales.”
Unfortunately, the panda’s luck didn’t last long.

Northern Ireland meanwhile is covered by a yellow rain warning, with the flooding of some homes and businesses “likely”.
The Llyn Peninsula off the coast of Wales saw the highest gust overnight when a gust of 82mph was clocked at Aberdaron.
