Princess Charlotte melted the hearts of royal fans when she was spotted walking alongside her little brother Prince Louis.

King Charles III led his family to the annual Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor today, with Prince William and Princess Kate showing up with their three children.

Four-year-old Prince Louise made his very first appearance for the service alongside his siblings Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince George, nine.

Dressed in a smart suit jacket, a blue tie and matching blue shorts, Louis clutched his mum's hands as they walked to the chapel.

While delighted royal watchers and photographers clapped hands to welcome the Royal Family, Louis bit his lip and gave a frowning look as he looked to the left.

Sister Charlotte then turned to Louis and checked on him.

She smiled and murmured to him as royal fans praised her for "checking on him".

"Sisterly love! She is so proud of little Louis," one shared on Twitter.

A second wrote: "Princess Charlotte watches her little bro, it reminds me of the Platinum Jubilee last year."

A third called Charlotte's gesutre a "big sister's duty", adding: "Princess Charlotte keeping an eye on her brother."

"Look at how Princess Charlotte is looking back to check on him," a fourth commented. "Such a normal family moment. I can imagine the speech Prince Louis got before they left the house."

Last June, Charlotte was seen slapping Louis' hand out of his mouth when they attended the Platinum Jubilee pageant.

She saw her brother blowing a raspberry at his mother and decided to keep a watchful eye on him.

Today marks the first Easter service since the death of the Queen last September.

King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla posted a picture of daffodils on Twitter and shared: "Wishing all of our followers a Happy Easter."
