Robber dubbed ‘A** maniac’ by police after stealing £420 sex toy shaped like a woman’s behind in armed raid at an adult store faces ten years in Russian prison

An armed robber who held up an adult shop and fled with a sex toy shaped like a woman’s backside is facing ten years in jail in Russia.

Sobbing Denis Savyolov, 22, confessed to the crime on camera after police raided his flat and interrogated him in his boxer shorts.

CCTV footage shows Savyolov pointing a gun at a female sales assistant before fleeing with a ‘multi-functional’ sex toy, priced at £420, which had been displayed in the window.

Savyolov was reduced to tears by officers who handcuffed him and quizzed him about the robbery.

The humiliated robber admitted going to the shop ‘to steal’ and said he’d been drunk at the time.

Footage shows officers taking the rubber sex toy out of a bag on the floor with one saying: ‘I am uncomfortable even by touching it.’ 

He adds: ‘Here it is, with a bum.’ 

The detective then turns to Savyolov and mockingly says: ‘Okay, a*** maniac – that’s what you are now.’

Savyolov also told the officers he’d got rid of the pistol he used in the robbery by throwing it in a river.

Before the incident he had said on social media that his ‘personal priority’ was ‘family and children’.

A police source told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper: ‘A woman reported that she worked as a sales assistant in a sex shop in Privolnaya Street.

‘A man had just robbed her sex toys shop.’  

Savyolov was arrested and is being held in custody until he appears in court.
