Rich kid tries sleeping rough but instantly threatened with knife over £4k teeth
This is the moment a millionaire sleeping rough is threatened with murder by a knife-wielding maniac in Rich Kids Go Homeless.
The C5 show, which aired last night, takes privileged kids away from their creature comforts and plunges them into life on the crime-ridden streets to challenge their ideas about homelessness.
Kieron Hamilton, aged 23 at the time of filming, reckoned homeless people were “lazy” and thought he might make his way into a shelter by buying and re-selling umbrellas in London's The Strand.
But the lad quickly aroused deep suspicion from a fellow rough sleeper thanks to his glitzy looks.

Self-made millionaire Kieron, who trades in cryptocurrency, had forked out £4,000 for his sparkling white gnashers.
Challenging his appearance, one man says: “You have got very nice teeth!
“You’re a cop.”
Kieron starts to speak and says he is “definitely not a cop”, but the man interrupts him.
“I have not seen you here before,” he says aggressively, “And I f***ing run things around here.”

“I’m definitely not a police officer,” Kieron says again, but his plummy accent is not fooling anyone.
Escalating things, the angry bloke says: “I’m going to f***ing murder you.
“I’m going to f***ing hurt you bad.
“I’ll f***ing stab you right now, dickhead.
“I’m going to hurt you bad.”
“Let’s keep walking guys,” says Kieron, who is managing to sound quite calm despite the repeated death threats.

The camera crew then intervened to get Kieron away from danger.
“He pulled a knife out,” Kieron says to the camera as the team hot-foot it away from the furious tramp.
The experience was chalked up as “dead weird” by the rich kid.
Summing up his night, he said: “You don’t feel safe on the streets, I’d rather be in jail than be homeless.
“You’ve got guards in jails. You’ve not got guards on the streets.”
