Jazmyne Futrell is a mum-of-four whose recent photo of family life has captured a lot of people’s attention.

With no shortage of parenting bloggers and personalities on social media, this is no mean feat.

So what did Jazmyne do differently to all the others?

She simply shared a candid snap her husband took, which shows her taking multitasking to the next level.

Jazmyne shared the photo to her page Mixed Mom Brown Babies, and in it we can see her a) breastfeeding her seven-month-old son, Koehen b) cook dinner and c) help son Karson, 7, with his homework, all while her daughter Kinley and younger son, Karter, play on the floor.

The photo was captioned: "Friends with no kids: You go to bed at 9pm? Girl I can’t fall asleep before 11pm.’

"Mom friends: ‘You go to bed at 9am? Girl I can’t seem to stay up past 8:30.’

"With four kids I’m way too exhausted to even think about having a life after dark and way to busy to go to bed at a decent hour.’"

Jazmyne’s warts-and-all depiction of family life quickly struck a chord with parents, and attracted a great deal of praise.

However, she remains pretty humble and down-to-earth about it all, telling Yahoo Lifestyle: "There’s so much to say about this photo.

"I shouldn’t be cooking while holding my baby, my son has a ponytail because I didn’t have time to braid his hair, and my kids are on the floor.

"That’s why I posted it – there’s not enough realness on social media.

Jazmyne has had her fair share of struggles as a parent. Following the birth of Koehen she battled postnatal depresion.

She added: "Many times I thought, ‘Can I do this?’ I hope showing photos like this lets mothers know they’re not fighting their battles alone."
