Racy singer who performed sex acts on stage ‘to go godly’ in career change

The controversial funk singer who was filmed receiving oral sex from a fan on stage is now looking to launch a more god-honouring career.

Brazilian artist MC Pipokinha, real name Doroth Helena de Sousa Alves, is reportedly considering leaving pop behind in favour of gospel music, which will come as a shock to fans of her X-rated performances and sexually-charged tunes.

Local journalist Luiz Bacci took to Instagram to share the news, writing: "Sources: Pipokita is studying to record and pursue a gospel career."

"The star will have confided this desire to people close to her. What do you think?" he added.

Social media users were not thrilled by the reports, however, with many wondering how she would combine her raunchy antics with her apparent appreciation for Christian music.

"Are you going to sexualize gospel music?? Careful, God doesn't tolerate this!!" one disgruntled fan wrote.

Meanwhile a second chimed in: "Am I the only one bothered by this woman?"

However a third was more lenient, adding: "Repentance can indeed give her a new life. God is ready to forgive our sins, we just need to repent wholeheartedly."

In addition to her controversial on-stage sex acts, MC Pipokinha also caused a stir after a video surfaced of her allowing cats to suck her nipples and more recently, she was seen entering the cockpit of a plane to flash the pilot.

Politicians in Brazil have even tried to ban minors from her shows thanks to the explicit nature of the concerts.

But threats from lawmakers haven't deterred her and it was recently announced the X-rated singer would appear on a TV show where she would be under constant surveillance.

She is reportedly booked to appear on the 15th season of A Fazenda ('The Farm'), a 24-hour reality show similar to Big Brother where celebrities are filmed round the clock.

Desembuxa Online reported MC Pipokinha was the first celebrity to sign up for the show after her graphic performances saw her popularity skyrocket.

Contestants have their phones taken away and are stripped of access to TVs and the internet during their three-month stay at the farm, with viewers tuning in to watch their every move.

The celebs then compete for the chance to win a prize of R$1.5million (around £245,000) by avoiding weekly evictions until one is left standing
