Prince William and Princess Kate have shared a new photo to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the image today, which marks their 12th wedding anniversary, having tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in 2011.

The pair were snapped by photographer Matt Porteous on bicycles together, celebrating their 12th anniversary just a week before the Coronation of King Charles III.

Sharing the image on their social media platforms, the Prince and Princess of Wales were all smiles in their recently posted photo, which was captioned "12 years" with a heart emoji.

A new snap of the happy couple comes as The Daily Star previously reported the duo still had a "genuine spark", with a body language expert confirming they are the "strongest royal couple".

Body language expert Darren Stanton claimed the pair had a "mischievous element" to their relationship that kept them going.

An "almost telepathic connection" between the two was also cited by former police officer Darren, who noted the pair's longevity as a couple and how their "genuine spark" was still going.

Expert Darren said: "They are evidently very deeply synchronised with each other, and have an almost telepathic connection.

"They definitely have a different dynamic compared to other Royal couples. Kate and William have certainly proven to be the perfect match from the outset."

Their long-running chemistry appears to have lasted for 12 years so far and will serve Prince William well when he becomes King of England, Darren claimed.

He said: "Their deep level of connection, rapport, trust and love has continued to grow, and will continue to grow even more as William moves towards his rightful place on the throne, with Kate by his side."

The recently released photo commemorating their wedding anniversary did show the pair side by side, enjoying a sunny day out on the back of bicycles.
