Prince Harry has been seen for the first time as he left self isolation at Frogmore Cottage on Wednesday.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, is to join his brother Prince William to unveil a statue to Princess Diana in Kensington Gardens on Thursday.
He arrived back in the UK last Friday and has undergone five days isolation with his wife Meghan Markle and two children, Archie and Lilibet staying in the US.
He can leave self-isolation in Windsor if he tests negative for coronavirus and was seen arriving at Kew Gardens in south-west London.
It is the first he has been seen in the UK since the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip in April.
Sources told the Telegraph that he will join a private family gathering after the memorial event – on what would have been Diana's 60th birthday – on Thursday.
Reports have also claimed the 36-year-old flew back to Britain a day early so he could attend a charity event on Wednesday.
Insiders said Prince Harry is set to be the surprise guest at the secretive affair following his stint in quarantine.
A source told the Sun: "Organisers have moved Heaven and Earth to make this happen. It's been carefully choreographed.
"It's an incredibly important day for him and the organisers want to make it as successful as possible.'"
On Thursday he will join his brother Prince William, 39, for the official ceremony.

Prince Charles playfully chased Diana up stairs in 'good times' before Harry was born
The statue ceremony will be held in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace where Diana lived.
It is now home to William and his family and few will attend the event including William and Harry, Diana's close family and the sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.
The brothers are said to have spent "weeks" working out where to place the statue in the palace.
No details of the statue have been revealed ahead of time, but it is understood to show Diana's youthful and playful character, according to the Telegraph.
