Prince Harry and Meghan ‘acting like petulant teenagers’ blasts royal expert
A royal expert and biographer has said that Prince harry and Meghan Markle are like "petulant teenagers."
Angela Levin is a journalist, royal biographer, author, broadcaster and public speaker and she was about to appear on GB News when she made the comment about the Sussexes.
"Talking about the extra chapter of Finding Freedom on @GBnews at around 8.15pm. They come across as petulant teenagers. It is all about us us us," she tweeted.
Levin's latest dig at the couple referred to the updating of an unofficial biography of their recent lives, called Finding Freedom.
The book was written by royal family commentators Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand and released in August last year, after the couple stepped back from royal duties.
Harry and Meghan’s legal team have said that the authors of the book do not speak for the couple and that the Harry and Meghan “did not collaborate with the authors on the book, nor were they interviewed for it”.
The "extra chapter" Levin referred to is the latest work by Scobie and Durand.
A new book is mooted, and it will reportedly cover the couple's move to California, interview with Oprah, and Prince Philip's death.
The first book covered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit from their royal roles.
The updated version of the book claims the couple have no regrets about stepping away from the Royal Family.
A new extract from the book reads: "As difficult as recent years have been, sources close to the Sussexes say that neither Harry nor Meghan have any regrets about the decisions they have made.
"What started as a fairy tale romance became a story that reinvented the genre – a self-made, independent woman playing an equal role alongside her knight."

The book is being re-released on August 31 with a new epilogue, in which friends of the Sussexes also claim that the pair think the Royal Family haven't taken "full ownership" of the issues they have raised.
The book's publisher Harper Collins has said it will include "behind the scenes of Harry and Meghan's ground-breaking interview with Oprah, details behind the couple's move to California (and) the various philanthropic and business endeavours the Sussexes have been involved with."
The updated version also claims that Harry hoped the family could come together during his visit to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral.
An extract reads: "There was a feeling that this trip might also present an opportunity to come together and talk without the filter of staff as go-betweens, a number of whom the Sussexes had come to discover were behind many of the media leaks they dealt with as working royals."
The Sussexes were not involved in the book, but its authors say people close to the couple were.
