A primary school pupil pulled a huge knife as others youngsters brawled on the street in broad daylight. 

The child was filmed waving a blade around as he threatened to get involved in the punch up in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.

The fighting pair could be seen wrestling on the ground as the younger boy took out the weapon and looked on menacingly.

The rest of the youngsters then noticed the blade and one boy leaped up to disarm the knife-wielding kid.

They forced the youngster – who could be as young as five – to let go of the weapon.

An older woman later approached the group as the video cut off.

According to local media, the knife was handed to woman, who came over to see what was going on.

It is unclear whether any of the boys were injured in the knife incident.

Local media report the youngsters involved were aged between five and 10 years old.

Reports did not say whether the boys’ parents have got involved or whether anyone had filed a complaint with the authorities.
