Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be celebrating their daughter Lilibet’s 1st birthday at Frogmore Cottage today.
Yesterday they attended the Queen’s special Jubilee thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral alongside dozens of other royals including the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge.
Royal analysts observed that Harry and William were kept apart during the carefully choreographed ceremony.
The Queen has held a virtual call with the Australians of Year and the country’s governor-general to commend them on their ‘marvellous work’ as she celebrates her Platinum Jubilee.
The Queen was in a good spirits throughout the meeting, with the award recipients remarking with some surprise on her ‘cheeky’ sense of humour.
During the Zoom call with the six Australians, the 96-year-old monarch remarked on the ‘splendid’ technology which enabled the virtual meeting to take place despite its participants being on opposing sides of the world.

Today the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge are to take to the stage to pay public tributes to Her Majesty during the star-studded Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace.
Senior royals including William, Kate and the Princess Royal will attend Jubilee events in Cardiff, Northern Ireland and the Epsom Derby over the course of the day before the rock show.
