Piers Morgan rubs shoulders with stars ahead of Soccer Aid kick-off
The Good Morning Britain host posted a series of snaps to his Twitter account ahead of the big game.
In one post, the former American Apprentice winner posed with ex-Real Madrid and Brazil left-back Roberto Carlos.
In another, he clenches his first with a determined look on his face as he sits next to Scottish actor James McEvoy on the team bus.
Morgan also uploaded a photo with Manchester United legend Eric Cantona with the caption “The King..and Eric”.
The event aims to raise money for more than 80,000 children in Sierra Leone and Zambia so they can have a childhood “full of play.”
All personal donations given until 23 July will be matched by the UK government.
The match is being played at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium in west London and the two teams involved are littered with former football stars and celebrities.
This year’s match sees an England XI face off against a World XI.
The England side includes former internationals David Seaman, John Terry and Jamie Carragher.
Meanwhile, former Chelsea favourites Didier Drogba and Michael Essien line out for the World XI.
Superstar sprinter Usain Bolt is partnered up with Drogba in attack.
