She revealed she had been on 220 unsuccessful dates from apps in the last eight years.

She has appealed to her local catholic church to allow her to marry her six-year-old labrador, Logan.

She said: “I’ve had 220 dates in eight years from six dating sites and it’s generally been a disaster.

“I thought it would be a good idea to marry 

“He never leaves my side and we love one another.

“Some might think I’m bonkers but it feels right.

“It’s my way of saying we’ll be together forever.”

The pair plan to tie the knot in front of 20 guests, with Logan even donning a top hat and bow tie.

Liz has had a chequered love life, with a number of high profile relationships.

She claims golfing legend Seve Ballesteros took her virginity when she was only 17.

Liz also went on to romance 

Speaking on the death of golfing legend Seve, Liz paid an emotional tribute.
