Outrage as evil Baby P mum Tracey Connelly given £14k in fight to see other kids

“Time and time again perpetrators are given legal aid… yet victims are denied the same equality and have to raise the money themselves.”

Victims’ rights campaigner Harry Fletcher

Victims’ rights campaigner Harry Fletcher told the Mirror: “Time and time again perpetrators are given legal aid often for quite spurious reasons yet victims are denied the same equality and have to raise the money themselves.

“This is clearly wrong and must be addressed by politicians.”

Connelly was given permission to write to her daughters in December last year but she is banned from seeing them.

Shock figures revealed from a Freedom of Information request showed how she had raked in £14,194.01 from the Legal Aid Agency since she was banged up.

The Legal Aid Agency said: “Removing a child from a parent is very serious, that’s why legal aid is available to anyone facing this possibility.”

Baby P tragically died in 2007 after more than 50 injuries were inflicted on him at his home in Haringey, north London – despite more than 60 visits from cops and social workers.

Daily Star exclusively revealed how Connelly begged doctors for a hysterectomy operation to remove her womb over fears she didn’t trust herself to have more kids.

In February we exclusively told how the vile mother had found love with an insurance salesman who she hopes to shack up with when she is released from prison.
