New technology reduces malaria cases in Senegal
Senegal is one of a few African countries that reduced cases of malaria by 20 percent last year, due in part to a new early detection technology developed by Senegalese hospitals.
A new way of detecting malaria is being credited with cutting the number of people who have died from the disease in Senegal.
Scientists have developed technology that has seen cases drop by 20 percent.
