A baffled mum reckons her nosey neighbour has demanded her “small child” only be allowed to play in the garden for 15 to 20 minutes per day – or they’ll call the cops.

Dawny Daw, a TikTok user, claims the neighbour threatened to call the police,HullLivereports.

They are understood to have been neighbours for a year, with Dawny Dawn taking to TikTok on a 15-second video to run through the contents of the alleged message.

The neighbour reportedly said her bird and dogs had been bothered by Dawn’s little one, who had been "laughing and giggling".

The generous neighbour even said that before she called the police she would give Dawn a chance to sort the noise nightmare out herself.

The barmy message, which has not been verified, said: “Dear neighbour. I moved here a year ago and I wanted to give you time to correct this problem on your own, but you are apparently too inconsiderate to do so.

"Every day this week, when weather has been nice and windows are open, you proceed to let your small child run free in your garden, laughing and giggling and carrying on without end.

"This is very disruptive for my two dogs and my bird who sits next to the window and likes to look into the garden. Perhaps you could ask your child to tone it down a bit.

"Or, at least limit her outside time to 15 to 20 minutes a day so my dogs can go outside without seeing her.”

Then, shockingly, they added at the end: “If this behaviour persists I will call the police!"

In her video, Dawn shows the note as it with just a little bit of it sitting at the top of her letterbox.

The video then progresses to show her showing the whole message, handwritten on lined paper in a blue biro.

Many of the words in the message are underlined, including “limit”, “behaviour”, “call” and “police”.
