Stuart was only able to donate body tissues, while the little boy’s organs, including his heart, saved at least four lives 

“It was emotional,” Anna told the Mirror. 

“More so than I thought it would be. But it made me very happy.

“It was me who didn’t want to talk about it, but Stu said ‘Why don’t you? If something happened to me why would I not become an organ donor?’.

“It meant that when the doctors asked me, it was the one point where I didn’t have to think, because I knew what Stu would have wanted.

“I’m just so glad we talked about it. And now, more than ever, the donation helps me – it has allowed me to get something positive from such a tragedy.”

Anna said her conversation with Stuart about organ donation came just two months before he died.
