A mum told off for taking her kitten into Asda says she had "never been so embarrassed".
Danyele Lo Bianco claims to have been "humiliated" in a supermarket by a member of staff who ordered her to abandon her full trolley as she and her daughter were escorted out by security.
The 47-year-old was shopping with her daughter Nicolle, 17, while carrying their kitten Lolly in a 'pet bag' around St Helens, Merseyside on September 6.
Danyele says she respected anywhere which stated 'no pets allowed' but did not see the sign on Asda's doors so headed on in to do the family's weekly shop, the ECHO reports.
She alleged a staff member, who she believes to be a manager, approached them "screaming, being rude and very loud in the middle of the supermarket in front of everyone."
Danyele said she was was shocked and initially thought it was because there were thieves in the store, but was then told it was because they were not allowed the kitten in the supermarket.
She claimed she tried to explain there was no sign on the door stating that there were no pets allowed.
Nicolle, Danyele's daughter claimed that they were told by the staff member that there was no sign as it is something security usually deals with such matters, however said they were not stopped at the door.

Danyele told the ECHO: "My daughter panicked because we have never had this type of treatment before in my life.
"We asked her why she was had this kind of rude behaviour with us and she told us it's because I was not allowed to shop with my kitten.
"So I tried to explain to her that there is no sign on the front mentioning no pets allowed."
The 47-year-old said they had a shopping trolley "full" of items which they claim was taken by the staff member and they were escorted to security who told them to leave the shop.

Danyele added: "I thought there was no problem.
"But in the end I dropped everything and me and my daughter left the supermarket feeling humiliated.
"My daughter was crying and my cat was too nervous and started trying to get out of her purse because of the whole situation."
Danyele and Nicolle alleged that they visited an Asda store in Widnes with their kitten and had no trouble at this shop and staff even "petted" the cat.

An Asda spokesperson said: "‘We have not yet received a complaint about this matter but we would encourage the customer to get in touch with our customer service team so we can find out what happened.
"We ask that customers who have pets please do not bring them into store to be respectful to other shoppers and we would like to thank the majority of our customers who follow this policy."
