A huge explosion has been heard during a match between Stan Wawrinka and Dominik Koepfer at the Paris Open.
Footage shows the tennis superstars stopping play as the loud bang erupts in the distance at Roland Garros in the French capital.
People have flocked to Twitter to share their experiences, with some saying the sound "rocked" their windows.
Another asked: "Everyone in Paris and the suburbs heard a felt something like a big explosion, any news?"
It is believed the huge noise was caused by a jet breaking the sound barrier.
In a statement, Paris Police said: "A very powerful noise was heard in Paris and in the Paris region.
"There is no explosion, it was caused by a fighter plane which crossed the sound barrier."
Authorities also urged police not to "clutter up the emergency lines" by calling to report the noise.
