Melania Trump fury: FLOTUS sparks Twitter outrage with photos of White House visit

The First Lady, and wife of the US President, shared pictures of the Guatemalan leader’s visit on her Twitter page. After posting her update, Melania was soon inundated with comments from her critics. Joe W commented: “Phony First Lady!”

One Twitter user wrote: “This doesn’t do anything for our country.”

A second posted: “I feel sorry for them having to put with you and your husband.”

Another added: “Be Best. You’re a joke.”

Amy Ginsburg commented: “Seriously? Do you truly think anybody gives a damn?”

Other netizens highlighted Trump’s previous comments about Guatemala.

Diane McLaughlin asked Melania: “Wasn’t that one of the places your charming husband insulted?”

Holly Jafari added: “You mean the same country he called s**t holes?”

Some Twitter users mocked the First Lady over her language skills.

Some netizens highlighted Trump’s separation of families at the US border, trying to enter the country illegally.

Another Twitter user posted: “Completely forgot about all the Guatemalan kids in cages at the border.”

Some used the social media platform to bring up Trump’s Impeachment hearing.

One Twitter user added: “Did he bring his own popcorn to watch POTUS get impeached?”

A second added: “Did you show them where you have their people in cages?”

Mary posted: “Did they ask about the Guatemalan children in cages at our border, Melania?”

Despite the wave of attacks towards Melania, many defended the First Lady and praised her work.

Ava Armstrong tweeted to Melania: “Dear FLOTUS, you add a special style and grace to the White House we have never had before.

“Not only are you intelligent and beautiful, you also know how to organise and execute events flawlessly.”

Barry said: “You are a national treasure Melania.”
