Meghan Markle is believed to want to find somewhere in California near to where she grew up to raise the Royal baby.

She and Prince Harry are alleged to be househunting close to Los Angeles, where Meghan spent much of childhood.

Meghan, 37, is also said to want to live closer to her mum Doria Ragland, who still lives in LA.

Prince Harry, 34, and his wife moved from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, Berks, last month.

Her mum, 62, is believed to be staying with the pair while they wait for the arrival of the Royal baby — now a week overdue.

“Meghan definitely wants a place in Los Angeles — she loves the city, the lifestyle and climate,” a source close to the Suits star told The Sun.

“Ultimately, she is a California girl and can breathe easier there.

“Hollywood is in her DNA and I think it is where she has always wanted to keep a solid footing.”

The pal also claimed Meghan wanted to move to LA to get more “freedom” and “independence” both from Buckingham Palace and the press.

The Duchess was born in Canoga Park, around 23 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles.

While filming Suits, she split her time between Toronto — where the series was filmed — and the home she shared in LA with her first husband Trevor Engelson, 42.

It isn’t known how the Queen, 93, would feel about her grandson and greatgrandchild moving to the other side of the world.

April’s move from Kensington Palace was also speculated to be a move away from Prince William and Kate Middleton who live in the central London pad.

Anticipation is building ahead of the birth of the Royal baby, with the Duchess having kept out of the public eye for around a month.

Earlier this week, a police escort sparked rumours Meghan had gone into labour.

Yesterday an insider revealed Meghan is “overdue” but “comfortable” as she waits at home.

It’s been reported Kate wants a fourth baby as Meghan’s pregnancy has made her “broody”.
