Meghan Markle has still not spoken to her dad since her and Prince Harry’s wedding nearly two years ago, her furious sister has exclusively told Daily Star Online.

The Duchess of Sussex, 38, has reportedly ghosted her father Thomas Markle, 75, ever since he pulled out of their royal wedding in May 2018.

He had dropped out of his daughter’s big day at Windsor Castle after suffering a heart attack days earlier, leaving Prince Charles to walk her down the aisle.

But just days earlier he had been exposed for posing for staged paparazzi photographs in the lead up to the wedding, reportedly sparking fury from Meghan.

He had reportedly vowed to Meghan and Harry before then not to give press interviews – as he had done countless times before the wedding.

Yet after the staged photos, he reportedly lied to Harry when questioned about it in a phone call and even hung up on him.

Since then Meghan has reportedly blocked all contact from her dad, sparking a string of outbursts in newspaper interviews from him.

But after months of ranting and pleading, Thomas finally fell silent and finally stopped giving interviews.

Yet his daughter Samantha has given an exclusive interview to Daily Star Online in which she has revealed Meghan has still not spoken to him.

She tells us that despite Meghan even giving birth to Thomas’s grandchild Archie in May, she has yet to contact her dad once.

A furious Samantha, 54, even rubbished the claim that her dad pulled out of Meghan’s wedding, claiming he was never invited in the first place.

Thomas himself had said in a previous interview with the Mail Online: "I never got a (physical) wedding invitation".

Samantha told us: “What she has done to the Markle name is disgusting.”

“The truth is there was no excuse, my dad was never invited to the wedding and that was just what her PR people and publications said to make it look like there was just grounds for ghosting my dad .

“(In reality) she idolised him up to the minute and always has every minute of her life but she was embarrassed by him and she would rather Charles walk her down the aisle because he is Royal.

“Rather than do the right thing and assist him in any way – she could have gotten him a wheelchair she could have helped him with anything and she should have been proud for him to be there – instead she made excuses that there was some photo scandal.

“The paparazzi had (previously) twisted his image, so he had a right to be photographed in his natural light and he thought he was doing a good thing by my sister, but her disgusting PR people twisted it to create some scandal so that she would have some imaginary reason for ghosting him.

“The bottom line is everything about just one heart attack was a lie too… he had two heart attacks. She ignored him through that, she ignored him through holidays and she still ignoring him.

“Shame on her.”

On Meghan continuing to apparently not contact her dad, Samantha said: “Her ego won't let her send a message or apologise because that would also be coupled with an admission of guilt and that she was wrong all this time.

“She doesn't want the world to see that but I hope she feels that when she looks in the mirror.

“She knows she was wrong and what she has done to the Markle name is disgusting.

“My grandmother would roll over in her grave and she would be disgusted with my sister's actions.”

Samantha had previously suggested to Daily Star Online that Thomas still hopes to one day reunite with his daughter.

But the sister, who uses a wheelchair as she suffers from multiple sclerosis, also fumed: “I suppose the family will have to give Archie his little gifts when he is older and escaped the clutches of his controlling mother and can meet family himself.

“I hope Archie becomes a flaming liberal that ventures out to meet family himself and hopefully everyone won't be passed away by that time.

"Meg has no right to give him a tunnel vision existence."
