Meghan Markle and Harry to ‘build £3m house close to the Beckhams’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harryare reportedly planning to build a £3 million manor close to the Beckhams.

The royal couple apparently want to build the manor near Soho Farmhouse, at their favourite private members' club – just like David and Victoria Beckham.

The Cotsworld retreat is also where Meghan had her hen do before marrying Harry in 2018.

A source told The Sun: “This house will be their bolthole when they are in the UK. It is costing around £3million and will be on the opposite side of the Farmhouse to the small house being built for the Beckhams.”

The property will include a drive, and three bedrooms and non-members will be able to stay as guests at the estate in Great Tew, Oxon, which is one of the reasons the couple are said to have wanted a home there.

The couple have pledged to return the £2.4million of taxpayers money used to renovate Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

But the new manor will be paid for through their own money.

Their spokesman did not wish to comment.

Harry and Meghan, along with their son Archie, are currently residing in Canada since their announcement in January to step back in their roles as senior members of the Royal Family.

They have been taking precaution and self-isolating amid the coronavirus outbreak that has gripped the world for the last few weeks.

Harry and Meghan are still “desperately hoping” to visit the Queen in the UK this summer despite the coronavirus crisis.
