Meghan and Harry ‘spent $400-an-hour on lush beach mansion to record podcast’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry splashed out on a $400-an-hour mansion to record a mental health podcast, it has been claimed.

Instead of setting up recording equipment in their own £11m home, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are understood to have met Californian high school students at a neutral luxury venue to mark Mental Health Day.

Hosts of the 'Teenager Therapy' podcast shared a snap of the royal recording to promote the episode, showing the group wearing masks in front of a grand stone fireplace.

Fans of the couple thought they were getting an exclusive look inside Meghan and Harry's new home, only for the Daily Mail to claim that the podcast was actually recorded just a short drive away at a beachfront mansion.

Deep-pocketed holidaymakers can rent the stunning home on Giggster which now boasts in its description the fact that it hosted an "interview with Prince Harry and Meghan".

Luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren, Free People and Serena and Lily have all used to home for photoshoots in the past.

Hiring the house 'On the sand in Montecito', will set you back £900 for just three hours.

The description of the house says, it has 'tons of style and plenty of off-street parking' and is just 100 yards from Miramar beach.
