Meghan and Harry ‘poking the bear’ and royals ‘may have tipping point’
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "poking the bear" with their recent television appearances and there may be a "tipping point" with the royal family, an expert has warned.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken part in a number of public interviews in recent months which have revealed details from behind the scenes at the palace.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey The Duchess revealed she had suffered from suicidal thoughts and that members of the royal family had 'conversations with Harry about how dark [Archie's] skin might be when he's born'.
Harry has also since appeared on a podcast in which he suggested that Prince Charles handed down a "cycle" of "genetic pain and suffering" to him.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced on January 8 last year that they would step back from senior positions within the Firm following talks at Sandringham withPrince Charles,Prince William and theQueen.
Meghan and Harry have since relocated with their son Archie Harrison to California, having spent the intervening period living in Canada, in hopes of a more private lifestyle.
And now, Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English has suggested the Royal Family could well be nearing their "tipping point".
The MailPlus host said: "The Palace have always gone with the never complain, never explain approach.

"Can we really expect that to carry on? Surely there will be a tipping point?"
Ms English responded: "Buckingham Palace genuinely don’t want to get drawn into a public slanging match with Harry and Meghan.
"That said, they are poking the bear a lot, and people are right to wonder whether there will be a tipping point."
She continued: "I don't think it will be anytime soon.
"The royals are hoping that Harry will just burn himself out, that he says what he wants to say.
"Whether it is from the heart or he wants revenge, they are just hoping that he will get it off his chest and move on.
"They hoped that would happen with the first Oprah Winfrey interview but other so-called truth-bombs have been lobbed since."
Ms English added the family’s methods for fighting back were limited.
She said: "The Queen has already made very very clear that recollections vary on a lot of what they say but she really wants to sort this out privately."
In his latest appearance, on new documentary episode of The Me You Can't See: The Path Forward, Prince Harry hinted his family felt shame over his struggles with mental health.
Harry told Oprah families can feel ashamed when they don't realise what is happening with family members' mental health.
The Mail’s Saturday Diary Editor Richard Eden questioned why Harry had to keep "dragging his family into it".
However, he added: "It’s very good that Harry has spoken about his mental health and his therapy and that may be encouraging to other people, particularly men."
