Man bags £33k lotto win after psychic tells him dead dad wants him to buy ticket
A bloke has bagged himself a hefty £33,000 win in a lottery draw after a psychic told him his dead dad wanted him to buy a ticket.
The unnamed 55-year-old man from Maryland, United States, bagged himself the £33,000 ($40,000) Mega Millions prize after being told to buy Powerball and Mega Millions combo ticket.
He is yet to be named but the bloke was keen to point out that his dad had been an "avid lottery player", so much so that he contacted him from beyond the grave.

Seeking out a psychic, it appears the bloke was left receiving one last bit of advice from his late father.
That advice has bagged him a cool £33,000 after the psychic is said to have passed on a message from his late father in a séance-like meeting between the unnamed bloke and psychic.
The 55-year-old had also been told which numbers to put the lottery ticket on, but after that failed to yield any results, he switched up to a Quick Pick ticket.
One ticket that the unnamed man purchased from a corner store in Brunswick ended up bagging the bloke with a hefty cash prize.
Most of those winnings, he has pointed out, will be going into the bank for future plans.

His set of winnings come after switching out the numbers his father had "passed down" to him, telling him to bet on important dates like birthdays.
The 55-year-old said: "We are at the point in our lives where the kids' student loans have been paid off and we no longer have a mortgage."
Said winner is reportedly an avid scratch-card player and had previously bagged himself £41,000 ($50,000) on a ticket back in 2017, UPI reported.
Since the news of the winnings were first announced, it is said that the 55-year-old has been going by the pseudonym "Wezzie Brunswick", People reported.
