FLYING Squad officers last night charged a man in connection with an alleged £90million burglary at billionaire playboy James Stunt’s mansion.

Justinas Ivaskivicius, 34, from Cambridge, was arrested by detectives investigating the burglary at Stunt’s former home In Belgravia, West London.

He will appear at Westminster magistrates’ court today via video link charged with the theft of a diamond worth £515,000 from the ex-husband of F1 heiress Petra Ecclestone.

Ivaskivicius is further charged with two counts of possession of criminal property – an unspecified quantity of cash.

He was arrested at his home in Chesterton, Cambridge, on Wednesday over the theft in December 2017.

UK'S BIGGEST BURGLARY

In January 2018, Stunt told cops he had been robbed of uninsured gems, gold and cash in Britain’s biggest burglary.

The 38-year-old is said to have woken to find the safe at his Georgian house cleaned out just months after his bitter divorce from the Formula One heiress.

He was later evicted from the house after being made bankrupt.

Just months after the heist, he exclusively told The Sun: “It’s not nice being robbed, especially for that amount.”

He added: “The joke’s on me as I had no insurance, despite what was reported.

Bullion dealer James’ safe was said to have been in the basement of the house he moved into after his split from Petra.

They had been wed for six years.

In 2017, Petra took out an injunction forcing him to quit their £68million home in Chelsea, West London.

Their marriage officially ended in October 2017.

HUGE DIVORCE

At the divorce hearing James allegedly made a gun gesture with his hand at 29-year-old Petra’s dad Bernie, 86.

He also allegedly tried to punch him before storming out of court.

After the raid, Stunt apologised to Petra – mum to their three kids – her dad Bernie and sister Tamara after their £5.5billion divorce led to a bitter feud for nearly a year.

He said: “A lot of things were taken out of context. I’ve had time to reflect and have to own up when I’m wrong.”

At the time, a source told The Sun on Sunday: “James had only been in the house a short while and did not have time to get CCTV installed.

“Police were apparently surprised there were no cameras anywhere inside the house.

“He is devastated by the loss. It’s a lot of money even for him.”

The previous biggest burglary was the 2015 raid on safety deposit boxes by the Hatton Garden blaggers, who fled with £25million.
