Making a Murderer’s Steven Avery ‘made CHILLING confession about killing to ex-fiancee’

Legal secretary Lynn Hartman got engaged to Avery in 2016 after “dating” for eight months.

He was sentenced to life without parole along with 16-year-old nephew Brendan Dassey for killing 25-year-old photographer Teresa in October 2005.

Before meeting in Wisconsin jail Waupun Correctional Institute, they got to know each other through mail and phone calls.

Avery supposedly gave her the nickname “my vagina” and demanded four-hour sex sessions.

During their first meeting, Lynn started probing Avery about Teresa’s murder.

“He said it grinning like a Cheshire Cat”

“Even though this was a big red flag, I’d gone this far and I just felt I couldn’t get out of the situation and really wanted to believe that Steven was not guilty.”

Their romance started in 2016 after Lynn’s daughter Kamilia Woolsey, 26, told her to watch the show.

They began swapping letters and by July, Avery had split up with his then fiancee Sandra Greenman, 75.

Avery and Lynn got engaged in September, and she later described him on US talk show Dr Phil as “the sweetest little teddy bear I’ve ever seen in my life”.

But shortly after the loved-up display, the couple confirmed their split.

Avery called Lynn up to 25 times a day and she received a raft of abuse online – with trolls labelling her a “gold digger”, “dirty skank” and “diseased whore”.

Avery’s lawyer Kathleen Zellner hit out at Lynn’s claims, saying: “The authentic letters of Steven, which we have, do not indicate any obsession with sex.

“We are also in possession of Hartman’s letters to Steven which illustrate that people in glass houses should not be heaving stones.

“The prison does not issue orders only courts do that. Steven broke off the relationship with Hartman almost 3 years ago. She keeps talking. He has completely forgotten her and moved on.

“Steven is considered a model prisoner. He has no disciplinary history. There have been no violent outbursts on his part ever noted by the prison staff.”
