Magaluf party season gets underway as boozy Brits fall out of bars over the hottest weekend of the year – The Sun

BOOZY Brits have hit up Magaluf as the hottest weekend of the year hit the party town.

Well lubricated holidaymakers could be seen having a wail of a time in the Majorca resort as hundreds of school leavers start their summer.

Revellers thrilled to have finished their studies could be seen stumbling up the strip into the wee small hours over  the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday proved to be the hottest days of the year as Europe sweltered during a continent wide heatwave.

A "Saharan Bubble" hit the continent last week which saw the mercury soaring into the mid 40Cs for several countries.

But the heat couldn't slow down party-goers in the destination favoured by young Brits in search of sun, sea and a good time.

Clubbers have been seen pouring out of parties and swigging from cans and plastic cups through the streets of Mallorca.

Brightly-coloured signs could be seen mounted on lamp posts with the words "Have fun with respect" alongside warnings that punters faced hefty fines for breaking local laws.

But despite bans on drinking in the street hundreds of clubbers could be seen swigging from cans and plastic cups along the pavements.

By 4am some struggled to stay upright and others decided to forego their heels, walking home or eating takeaways while wandering the strip barefoot.

Cops in Magaluf have fined three tourists for "balconing" and have warned there will be more penalties unless drunken holidaymakers clean up their act.

There have been three reported incidents in June alone that include Brits deliberately launching themselves from hotel balconies into swimming pools.

All three balconing cases happened are believed to include young Brits who deliberately launch themselves from hotel rooms.

PARTY TOWN

In one case, a young Brit jumped from the second floor of his hotel room onto trees below.

He then reportedly tried to claim £35,000 compensation by alleging he slipped in the swimming pool.

He suffered several broken bones.

Another instance was in borad daylight when a Spanish tourist was caught balconing from an apartment block on Tuesday.

The fines are between £530 and £1,300 and can also apply to anyone who encourages a friend to have a go at balconing, either to jump into a swimming pool or gain access from one room to another.

Earlier this month a British couple were caught rompingon a concrete bench outside a nightclub at 7am in the party resort of Magaluf.

The mystery pair are thought to have stumbled out of a bar before performing a string of sex acts on each other.

Footage obtained by The Sun shows them cavorting yards from a beach busy with early-morning holidaymakers.

One elderly man is seen walking past while a bar worker empties bins feet from the open-air sex show.

A stunned Brit watching nearby told The Sun: “People know that a swallow signals spring but in Magaluf a couple going hammer and tongs on a park bench signals summer.”
