It is believed that the shooting took place following a disagreement between two groups of youths before one individual began firing a gun. At least three people are believed to have been injured in the shooting.

Police have now launched a widespread manhunt to find multiple suspects.

The suspects fled before police arrived at the Fashion Show shopping centre.

Lieutenant Jeff Stuart said that officers found three victims with “apparent gunshot injuries”.

So far, their injuries have not been described as life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Las Vegas police said: “We are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Fashion Show Mall and two persons are injured.

“Officers are on scene and clearing the area. Preliminary information indicates the suspects fled after the shooting before police arrived.”

Police have now shut the Spring Mountain Road exits from Interstate 15 and patrols were deployed to search the area.

Arrests are yet to be made.

Furthermore, the number of people injured has not been officially released by police.

Social media users have expressed their concerns on Twitter.

One user said: “WHAT. THE. HELL is happening in Las Vegas right now?

“Sheesh, so many gun incidents lately.”

Another said: “My prayers for everybody in Las Vegas.”

Another user called Jose said: “My heart and prayers go out to anyone injured in the Las Vegas mall shooting, may they make a speedy recovery.”
