Kashmiris mark 28th anniversary of Gaw Kadal massacre
On January 21, 1990, at least 52 people were killed on the Gaw Kadal bridge in Srinagar.
Separatist leaders in Indian-administered Kashmir are marking the 28th anniversary of an Indian security crackdown that killed 52 civilians and injured more than 250 others.
Amid the memorial, the government has imposed restrictions on people’s movement in the region.
