Jeffrey Epstein’s former lover Ghislaine Maxwell ‘has best of the best guarding her thanks to credible death threats’ – The Sun
THE alleged "madam" of Jeffrey Epstein is being guarded round the clock by former US Navy SEALs amid fears her life is in danger.
Ex-military men are shuttling Ghislaine Maxwell from one safe house to another throughout the Midwest after she received "credible death threats," a source revealed to the Daily Mail.
"The reality is she receives multiple, credible death threats on a daily basis," the source said.
"She is constantly moving. Her life is in danger. She is being guarded by the best of the very best that includes former US Navy SEALs.
"She's not under the protection of any government. She's on her own."
The constant movement is apparently "costing her a fortune" and last week's reports of her hiding out in Israel are "just b*******," according to the source.
Maxwell is accused of facilitating the sexual abuse of dozens of underage girls by procuring and grooming them to have sex with Epstein.
Her lawyers have vehemently denied these claims, including one where she allegedly threatened a 15-year-old girl made to be a sex slave for the now-deceased convicted sex offender.
The British socialite is now at the center of an FBI investigation.
The 58-year-old is said to be the only one who knows the truth about whether her close friend Prince Andrew had sex with Virginia Roberts when she was just 17.
Roberts said she was "passed around like a toy" and ordered to have sex with the Duke of York in 2001 in a BBC interview last month.
The Duke has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing and has claimed he has "no recollection" of ever meeting Roberts.
He's allegedly pleaded with his pal to come out of seclusion to clear his name.
Maxwell reportedly refused to defend him after she "carefully considered it, but decided no good would come of it" if she came forward, a source told the New York Post on Wednesday.
The Epstein associate has reportedly become "increasingly frustrated" with the "lies" being told about her.
Although Maxwell's lips are sealed on Prince Andrew, the source told The Mail she believes she'll eventually be vindicated.
"She believes her good name will be cleared – eventually. There is another side to the story and it will come out."
Lawyers for Maxwell declined to comment to The Mail.
