Iraq's government sets up polling stations for IDPs

Iraq has made preparations to allow camps of internally displaced persons to vote, but there has been little campaigning and most camp residents say they are most interested in returning home.

    In parts of Iraq, people who were forced from their homes by the war against ISIL are struggling to recover.

    The government has set up 166 polling stations in 70 camps for internally displaced persons.

    Camp residents are hopeful the government will make good on its commitments to rebuild destroyed cities and towns so that they can return home.
