Iran helped ‘coordinate Hamas attack’ as Israel prepares for multi-front war

Netanyahu posts video of retaliatory strikes

Israel is preparing for a multi-front war as the country’s enemies seek to capitalize on Hamas’s gruesome terrorist attack, an analyst told Daily Express US.

Hamas stormed across the Israeli border earlier Saturday in a coordinated attack that left more than 1,000 dead.

Geopolitics expert Kervin AuCoin said the attack showed all the hallmarks of being planned by Iran, which has long called for Israel’s destruction.

He said: “Iran continues to use proxy forces like Hamas to carry out attacks on various locations. This attack is no different. It has all the signs of Iran’s typical coordinated attacks.

“The fact that it was carried out on multiple fronts with such precision and the surprising nature of the attack gives credence to recent reporting that Iran was behind the attack.”

The CEO of AuCoin Analytics added: “Iran’s play here is to stop the improved relations Israel is getting from countries like Saudi Arabia.

“If they can get the Arab states friendly to Western governments to turn their backs on the West it will be a huge win for Iran.”

While US officials have said that they haven’t found direct evidence Iran was behind the attack, Tehran provides Hamas with much of its funding.

Iran also denied its involvement in the planning and carrying out of the attack but applauded Hamas for the strike.

Mr. AuCoin noted that Hezbollah – which has very close ties to Tehran – appears to have already entered the fray.

There have been clashes on Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. The south of that country is controlled by Hezbollah.

Earlier today (October 10), the IDF struck three Hezbollah observation posts following rocket attacks.

The IDF said: “In response to the rockets launched from Lebanon at Israel a short while ago, IDF tanks struck two observation posts belonging to Hezbollah.

“The IDF is prepared for all scenarios in all arenas, and will continue to operate in order to protect Israeli civilians.”

If Hezbollah launches a full-scale attack on Israel, it will open up another front in a war declared just three days ago.

The terrorist organization and political movement is better equipped than Hamas. Its involvement could stretch Israel’s forces.

If Iran decided to enter on the side of its proxies, it would surely complicate the situation for Israel and destabilize the Middle East.
