ILLINOIS Democrat Mary Lemanski was slammed for calling the Wisconsin parade attack "karma" for Kyle Rittenhouse's acquittal.

The suspect in the Christmas parade rampage in Waukesha, Wisconsin, has been identified as Darrell Edward Brooks, 39, an amateur rapper who performs under MathBoi Fly.

The horrific crash injured 48 people, including 18 children.

Officers identified the five victims of the rampage as Virginia Sorenson, 79, LeAnna Owen, 71, Tamara Durand, 52, Jane Kulich, 52, and 81-year-old Wilhelm Hospel during a press conference on Monday afternoon.

After the bloody plowing, Illinois Democrat Lemanski was ripped after saying the parade rampage was "karma" for the Rittenhouse.

Lemanski, who is listed as the social media director for the Democratic Party in DuPage County, began her heartless online rant by dismissing the tragedy as "just self-defense."

"It was probably just self-defense," Lemanski wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to Fox News.

"Living in Wisconsin, he probably felt threatened," she reportedly wrote in another deleted tweet — referring to Brooks.

"I'm sure he didn't want to hurt anyone. He came to help people," she added.

"The blood of Kyle Rittenhouse’s victims is on the hands of Wisconsin citizens, even the children.

"I'm sad anytime anyone dies. I just believe in Karma and this came around quick on the citizens of Wisconsin. You reap what you sow, Wisconsin.

"It's sad people died, but when you open the door to vigilante justice, everyone seems threatening," Lemanski reportedly wrote, per Fox.

On Friday, Rittenhouse was acquitted of five felony counts, including first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

The Illinois Democrat's comments faced stiff criticism from social media users, saying they hope she never knows "the pains of losing a child."

"I hope you never know the pain of losing a child. I hope the parents of those lost today in Waukesha never know you. I feel sad for both you and them," one person responded.

A second person wrote: "Honey, get the medical help you so desperately need."

A third Twitterer said: "What career. She's yeah and will always be. The entire country will see her tweets tomorrow and she will never recover."

CARNAGE

Brooks was detained after cops swooped on a property where an SUV – that matched the one used in the rampage – was parked in the driveway.

On Monday, police said before the horror crash, Brooks had been bailed just days.

Recent court documents revealed the 39-year-old had also been accused of running over the mother of his child in early November before making bail.

At least nine patients — most children — were listed in critical condition Monday at two hospitals, and seven others were reported in serious condition.

Members of the Dancing Grannies club were among those killed, as was an employee of Citizens Bank.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the group members wrote that it was "devastated" to confirm that some of its members were among the five killed by the speeding SUV that carved through the parade on Main Street at 4.30pm.

TROUBLING PAST

Additional court records show Brooks was facing several criminal charges in the run-up of the carnage.

In one case, filed November 5, he was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer, reckless homicide, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and battery.

He was ordered not to have any contact with a female victim and records show a $1,000 bond was posted on Friday.

In another case, filed in July 2020, Brooks is charged with reckless endangering and illegal possession of a firearm.

In the more recent one, a woman -believed to be the mother of one of his children – told police that Brooks deliberately ran her over with his vehicle in a gas station parking lot after a fight. She was hospitalized for her injuries.

An arrest warrant for the November 2 incident obtained by The Sun says he punched the mother of one of his children "with a closed fist".

According to reports, the woman was left bloodied with tire marks on her clothing and a swollen lip.

Court documents show officers "observed her to have swelling to her lip and dry blood on her face."

"Officers observed tire tracks on her left pants leg," the report adds.

Brooks is facing five charges of intentional homicide. He is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
