‘I wasn’t going that fast’ Cesc Fabregas’ plea with cops after driving 68mph in 40mph zone
Fabregas, 32, admitted driving his grey Land Rover sport at 68mph in a 40mph zone near the Tibbets underpass on the A3 near Wandsworth, south London, today and was slapped with a driving ban.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea maestro police “I wasn’t going that fast” after being pulled over on December 4, 2018.
The Spanish international did not attend the hearing because of “work commitments”.
He is currently taking part in pre-season training for Ligue 1 club Monaco.

Fabregas already had six points on his licence and is now banned from driving for six months.
He must also pay a fine of £750 with £135 court costs and a £75 surcharge.
The Monaco player was earlier represented by barrister Christopher Martin, instructed by solicitor Nick Freeman.
Freeman is nicknamed “Mr Loophole” for his ability to beat driving charges and has including a host of other celebs, including David Beckham.
